The work The Young Maestro by Juan Pablo Salinas was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,966.66), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Juan Pablo Salinas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The matador's triumph in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Young Maestro von Juan Pablo Salinas wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.966,66) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Pablo Salinas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The matador's triumph im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
