Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work La Boda by Juan Pablo Salinas. The price achieved of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,858.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Pablo Salinas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The matador's triumph in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Boda von Juan Pablo Salinas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.858,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Pablo Salinas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The matador's triumph im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.750,00 (€ 156.826,98).
