Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,120.00 (€ 15,220.46). Admittedly, works by Juan Manuel Blanes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Gaucho con trabuco) in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 115,384.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Military Encampment von Juan Manuel Blanes kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.120,00 (€ 15.220,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Manuel Blanes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Gaucho con trabuco) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 115.384,62).
