The work A Gaucho, At Dawn by Juan Manuel Blanes was sold in the Topographical Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,760.61), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Manuel Blanes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Gaucho con trabuco), which sold at auction in June 2007 for USD 156,000.00 (€ 115,384.62).

Die Arbeit A Gaucho, At Dawn von Juan Manuel Blanes wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Topographical Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.760,61) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Manuel Blanes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Gaucho con trabuco) beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für USD 156.000,00 (€ 115.384,62) versteigert wurde.
