Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Juan Gil García for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,969.43). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale Day Session at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Juan Gil García have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Naturaleza Muerta Con Anones in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,084.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Juan Gil García für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.969,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale Day Session bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Gil García auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Naturaleza Muerta Con Anones im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.084,73).
