Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,039.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Juan Batlle Planas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,329.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figura tomando mate von Juan Batlle Planas kam im November 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.039,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
