Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Spanish rococo Manners by Juan Antonio Gonzales for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,866.27). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Antonio Gonzales - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The recital, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,732.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spanish rococo Manners von Juan Antonio Gonzales für USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.866,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Antonio Gonzales mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The recital beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 7.170,00 (€ 10.732,83) versteigert wurde.
