Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Taichi Series by Ju Ming. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 294,400.00 (€ 34,546.39). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ju Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Taichi Series - Single Whip in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 20,820,000.00 (€ 1,922,718.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Taichi Series von Ju Ming zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 294.400,00 (€ 34.546,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ju Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Taichi Series - Single Whip im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 20.820.000,00 (€ 1.922.718,86).
