Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hen by Ju Ming was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ju Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Taichi Series - Single Whip in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 20,820,000.00 (€ 1,922,718.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hen von Ju Ming wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ju Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Taichi Series - Single Whip im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 20.820.000,00 (€ 1.922.718,86).
