In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism, which included the work A landscape with travellers on a road in a village, a windmill nearby by Joseph van Bredael. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph van Bredael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage d'hiver à la trappe aux oiseaux, d'après Pieter Brueghel in November last year with an auction result of EUR 170,560.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism durch, in der auch die Arbeit A landscape with travellers on a road in a village, a windmill nearby von Joseph van Bredael zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph van Bredael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage d'hiver à la trappe aux oiseaux, d'après Pieter Brueghel im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 170.560,00.
