Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2001 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Bords de la Seine à Saint Denis by Joseph Pressmane. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 9,400.00 (€ 10,592.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Joseph Pressmane have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2011 the work Personnages Au Balcon, 1952 was auctioned for EUR 12,751.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2001 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bords de la Seine à Saint Denis von Joseph Pressmane zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 9.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 9.400,00 (€ 10.592,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Pressmane konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit Personnages Au Balcon, 1952 für EUR 12.751,00 versteigert.
