The auction ended at the price of USD 9,000.00 (€ 7,093.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Hirsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sextet, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 22,111.54).
