This artwork by Joseph Farquharson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Scottish Art auction, the work Days Dying Glow sold for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,628.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Farquharson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When The West With Evening Glows in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 232,000.00 (€ 344,998.67).

In der Auktion Scottish Art wurde die Arbeit Days Dying Glow für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.628,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Farquharson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit When The West With Evening Glows im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 232.000,00 (€ 344.998,67).
