In the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction, the work Blythburgh Church, Suffolk sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,089.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Edward Southall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Rose Bowl, which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,818.28).
