This artwork by Joseph Dudley Downing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in April 2015. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 1,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Dudley Downing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Et cela depuis toujours in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Dudley Downing erzielte im April 2015 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 1.300,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Dudley Downing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Et cela depuis toujours im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
