The price achieved of USD 630.00 (€ 544.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Douglas Purcell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Granville Street (Two Works) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,047.42).
