Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II, which included the work Narcissus by Joseph Odevaere. The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,038.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Joseph Odevaere have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2009 the work Belgian The Last Guardians Of Messolonghi was auctioned for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 111,253.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Narcissus von Joseph Odevaere zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.038,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Joseph Odevaere konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2009 die Arbeit Belgian The Last Guardians Of Messolonghi für GBP 97.250,00 (€ 111.253,01) versteigert.
