In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work Feeding The Birds At The Tuilleries, Paris by Joseph Caraud. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,586.04) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Caraud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Intérieur À Alger in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 86,500.00 (€ 105,290.52).

Im September 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feeding The Birds At The Tuilleries, Paris von Joseph Caraud zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.586,04) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Caraud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Intérieur À Alger im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 86.500,00 (€ 105.290,52).
