In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work Winter Sea sold for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,932.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Arthur Palliser Severn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunset in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 20,625.00 (€ 25,348.79).
