Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction, the work Bexhill Beach changed hands for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,948.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Josef Oppenheimer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The tennis match, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 40,250.00 (€ 47,720.91).
