Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Hommage À Bhaskara by Josef Ongenae. The price achieved of EUR 11,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Josef Ongenae have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2010 the work Belgian Composition Périphérique was auctioned for EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hommage À Bhaskara von Josef Ongenae zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Josef Ongenae konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2010 die Arbeit Belgian Composition Périphérique für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert.
