Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Josef Heigel was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2007. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 509.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Heigel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A fine pair of miniatures of the Reiset family: The Comte de Reiset and his eldest son; the Comte, in black jacket and trousers, purple and blue waistcoat, white shirt and cravat, wearing spectacles, his grey hair combed forwards, seated in a green u in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 17,426.
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A fine pair of miniatures of the Reiset family: The Comte de Reiset and his eldest son; the Comte, in black jacket and trousers, purple and blue waistcoat, white shirt and cravat, wearing spectacles, his grey hair combed forwards, seated in a green u im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.352,50 (€ 17.426,66).
