Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Plaza by Jose Ángel Toirac for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,956.16). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jose Ángel Toirac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eternity, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,268.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Plaza von Jose Ángel Toirac für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.956,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jose Ángel Toirac mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eternity beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.268,41) versteigert wurde.
