In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision, which included the work Después De La Pesca (After The Catch) by José Mongrell. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 38,900.00 (€ 54,470.06), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by José Mongrell have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 66,500.00 (€ 93,117.20) in November 2007 for the work La Vuelta De La Pesca (The Return Of The Fishermen).

Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit Después De La Pesca (After The Catch) von José Mongrell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 54.470,06) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von José Mongrell haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 66.500,00 (€ 93.117,20) im November 2007 für die Arbeit La Vuelta De La Pesca (The Return Of The Fishermen) beobachtet.
