Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Pareja de novios (Couple) by José Gurvich for USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,610.23). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Gurvich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Estructura Con Figuras in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 128,534.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pareja de novios (Couple) von José Gurvich für USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.610,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Gurvich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Estructura Con Figuras im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 128.534,70).
