Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spanish Outside Saint Mark'S Basilica, Venice; A Pair by José Gallegos was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Gallegos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Choir of St. Mark'S, Venice in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 84,000.00 (€ 124,742.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spanish Outside Saint Mark'S Basilica, Venice; A Pair von José Gallegos kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.335,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Gallegos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Choir of St. Mark'S, Venice im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.000,00 (€ 124.742,63).
