A top price for José Antonio Davila
In May 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Ofrendas - Lxvii by José Antonio Davila. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,697.86), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Ofrendas - Lxvii is even the most expensive work of art by José Antonio Davila that we have observed at auctions so far.
