A top price for José Antolínez - as previously expected
The work The Baptism of Christ by José Antolínez was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2015. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,826.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Baptism of Christ is the most expensive artwork by José Antolínez that we have observed at auctions so far.
