In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work An extensive Italianate river landscape with horsemen on a path by Joris van der Haagen. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,875.00 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joris van der Haagen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woodland Scene In The 'Haagse Bos', With A Seated Figure, which sold at auction in July 2020 for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 44,616.95).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive Italianate river landscape with horsemen on a path von Joris van der Haagen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Joris van der Haagen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woodland Scene In The 'Haagse Bos', With A Seated Figure beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 44.616,95) versteigert wurde.
