Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A panoramic view in the region of the Betuwe, the town of Elst in the middle-ground and the town of Nijmegen on the horizon to the right by Joris van der Haagen was sold in the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours auction at Christies in London in December 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,544.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joris van der Haagen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woodland Scene In The 'Haagse Bos', With A Seated Figure in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 44,616.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A panoramic view in the region of the Betuwe, the town of Elst in the middle-ground and the town of Nijmegen on the horizon to the right von Joris van der Haagen wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert.
