Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jorge Eduardo could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Corvette 1960 changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,084.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Jorge Eduardo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2012 by the work Ferrari 250 Gto at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,088.00).
