Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Jorge Camacho for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Contemporain at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jorge Camacho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El cielo y la tierra in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,709.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Jorge Camacho für EUR 2.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Contemporain bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorge Camacho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El cielo y la tierra im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.709,63).
