Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Phillips in 19 - held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Jordy Kerwick. The price achieved of GBP 9,525.00 (€ 9,525.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordy Kerwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chic Imagery in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 254,301.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 19 - die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordy Kerwick zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.525,00 (€ 9.525,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordy Kerwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chic Imagery im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 254.301,37).
