Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Desire And Wisdom by Joop Frohwein. The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 687.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by Joop Frohwein have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2005 the work The Temptress was auctioned for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,126.75).

Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Desire And Wisdom von Joop Frohwein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 480,00 (€ 687,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden.
