Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Contemporary art, which included the work “Blubb'-Blubber Dirns'-Serie De Qualli-Quallus, Logan's Bann.. Serie de Messerjessicat .... Miau-Miau ... Boogie-Woogie-Amontilladoc.” by Jonathan Meese. The price achieved of DKK 4,800.00 (€ 643.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Meese achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Agamemnon's Hähnchenbesteck in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 132,500.00 (€ 190,278.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Contemporary art durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Blubb'-Blubber Dirns'-Serie De Qualli-Quallus, Logan's Bann.. Serie de Messerjessicat .... Miau-Miau ... Boogie-Woogie-Amontilladoc.” von Jonathan Meese zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 4.800,00 (€ 643,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Meese erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Agamemnon's Hähnchenbesteck im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 132.500,00 (€ 190.278,72).
