This artwork by Jonathan Lasker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Contemporary Tribalism sold for GBP 52,920.00 (€ 62,059.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Lasker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Discontinuous Self, which sold at auction in July last year for USD 138,600.00 (€ 135,855.71).

In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Contemporary Tribalism für GBP 52.920,00 (€ 62.059,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Lasker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Discontinuous Self beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für USD 138.600,00 (€ 135.855,71) versteigert wurde.
