Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Learner by Jonathan Kenworthy was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,396.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Kenworthy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Somali Girl at Wajir, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 26,250.00 (€ 31,438.08).
