Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mac Queen Crown On by Jonathan Bermudes was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Bermudes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marylin Double on, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 25,000.00.

Die Arbeit Mac Queen Crown On von Jonathan Bermudes wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Bermudes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marylin Double on beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert wurde.
