Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Amsterdam, A View To The East-North-East Over The Singel Towards The Munttoren With The Inn 'De Munt,' The Muntshus With The Reguliersbreestraat To The Right, The Binnenamstel In The Background by Jonas Zeuner was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonas Zeuner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Utrecht, a view of the Maliebaan; and Utrecht, a view of the Maliebrug with the house 'Bellevue' in January this year with an auction result of USD 163,800.00 (€ 150,856.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Amsterdam, A View To The East-North-East Over The Singel Towards The Munttoren With The Inn 'De Munt,' The Muntshus With The Reguliersbreestraat To The Right, The Binnenamstel In The Background von Jonas Zeuner im Dezember 2012 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.624,79) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonas Zeuner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Utrecht, a view of the Maliebaan; and Utrecht, a view of the Maliebrug with the house 'Bellevue' im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 163.800,00 (€ 150.856,51).
