Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shoreline - Dorset by Jonas Plosky was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in December 2003. The price achieved of GBP 446.50 (€ 632.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Jonas Plosky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Austin Seven in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,202.12).

Die Arbeit Shoreline - Dorset von Jonas Plosky wurde im Dezember 2003 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 446,50 (€ 632,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonas Plosky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Austin Seven im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.202,12).
