The »bidding war« ended at GBP 956.00 (€ 1,444.73), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonas Plosky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Austin Seven, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,202.12).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 956,00 (€ 1.444,73) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonas Plosky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Austin Seven beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.202,12) versteigert wurde.
