Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Farmbuildings Near Waunfawr by Jonas Plosky was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in December 2003. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 646.25 (€ 915.33). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonas Plosky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Austin Seven, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,202.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Farmbuildings Near Waunfawr von Jonas Plosky wurde im Dezember 2003 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 646,25 (€ 915,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonas Plosky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Austin Seven beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.202,12) versteigert wurde.
