Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Frog by Jon Burgerman was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 12,600.00 (€ 1,639.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jon Burgerman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jon’s Pizza Shop Project, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 4,410.00 (€ 4,503.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Frog von Jon Burgerman kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.600,00 (€ 1.639,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jon Burgerman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jon’s Pizza Shop Project beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 4.410,00 (€ 4.503,47) versteigert wurde.
