Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life with mortar by Johnny Oppenheimer was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in August 2010. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 4,200.00 (€ 448.63). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johnny Oppenheimer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stilleben med bröd och krus, which sold at auction in December 2009 for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,169.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life with mortar von Johnny Oppenheimer kam im August 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 4.200,00 (€ 448,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Johnny Oppenheimer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stilleben med bröd och krus beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.169,69) versteigert wurde.
