The work Still life with jars by Johnny Oppenheimer was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in August 2010. The auction ended at the price of SEK 5,000.00 (€ 534.08), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johnny Oppenheimer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stilleben med bröd och krus, which sold at auction in December 2009 for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,169.69).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Still life with jars von Johnny Oppenheimer kam im August 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 5.000,00 (€ 534,08) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johnny Oppenheimer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stilleben med bröd och krus beobachtet, die im Dezember 2009 für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.169,69) versteigert wurde.
