It achieved a price of GBP 705.00 (€ 918.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John William Bentley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village Road in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 11,352.50 (€ 9,779.05).
