In the British and European Art auction, the work 'Cornish Fish-girl' sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,295.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Thomas Peele achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The young highlander in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00 (€ 72,237.22).
