Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work A lady at a casement by John Templeton Lucas for GBP 375.00 (€ 432.38). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Templeton Lucas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "The War Map", which sold at auction in February 2010 for SEK 12,500.00 (€ 1,288.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A lady at a casement von John Templeton Lucas für GBP 375,00 (€ 432,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Templeton Lucas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "The War Map" beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für SEK 12.500,00 (€ 1.288,43) versteigert wurde.
