Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work By the Kiosk by John Strevens was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 998.75 (€ 1,587.24). Admittedly, works by John Strevens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Meeting in the park in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit By the Kiosk von John Strevens kam im September 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 998,75 (€ 1.587,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Strevens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Meeting in the park im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88).
