Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work The Shadow on the Tree by John Ritchie for GBP 5,975.00 (€ 8,586.40). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Ritchie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter, St James's Park, London in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 137,000.00 (€ 160,175.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Shadow on the Tree von John Ritchie für GBP 5.975,00 (€ 8.586,40) erwerben.
